Patan Durbar as empty as it gets!

During the pandemic, everyone was under various restrictions, confining many to their homes. During this time, I embarked on a walk from my residence, clutching my small film camera which acted as a permit for strolling through the quiet, uninhabited town. It had always been a desire of mine to witness the city devoid of its bustling population, allowing its inherent beauty to truly shine. After an hour's leisurely walk through the narrow alleyways of Patan, I arrived at a place frozen in desolation: Mangalbazar, the renowned Patan Durbar Square, lay in hushed tranquility.

The sight before me was nothing short of breathtaking; I stood still, a smile forming on my lips, and relished the moment for a few precious minutes. The urge to linger and soak in the serenity was strong, for Mangalbazar was typically teeming with people. Amidst the few positive aspects that emerged from the pandemic, this was undoubtedly one of the most profound.
