Flocks To Narayanhiti
If you have lived in Kathmandu for a long time than you must have noticed every evening flocks of birds fly towards the Narayanhiti palace. Since I was born and raised around the Palace area I have always noticed this and always had a question to myself about these birds. Why do they fly to the palace? If for shelter, there are plenty of trees all over Kathmandu (not really) and in the hills surrounding. When I asked my dad he said," because the King feeds them, simple they are hungry and its dinner time",that was a pretty good explanation for a 9 year old kid. Now I think of it that was just one of my dads stupid explanations about how the the world works. So, why do these birds Fly to Narayanhiti?
